GROUPOEM BAND releases new album, DIRT CHURCH

Groupoem Band, with songwriter/guitarist Terry "Rubberstone" Robinson, singer/songwriter Marph "Mr. Science" Nobody, drummer Chris "Flea" Lee, and bass player Darren "DK" Katamay, recently released their new album titled, DIRT CHURCH. The 19-song CD represents songs the band recorded in Toronto in their "early days" as well as new material recorded in Vancouver at The Farm and Greenhouse Studios over the past two years.

The album is a powerhouse of rhythmic melodies and poetic lyrics, a combination that establishes Groupoem has a breakthrough and imaginative alternative rock band.

Dirt Church by Groupoem marks a return after a quarter century pause. A return that is a soundtrack for intemperance and a teeth-grinding catharsis that is “angst on fire” reaching a bone-tensing pitch on “Skulls”.
